Residencia for EU Citizens: Is permission to live in Spain permanently. To apply for it you must provide the following papers:
1. Padron: This is the address registration at your local town hall, which is only required by residents or future residents.
2. Passport and copy
3. Passport photo (with white background)
4. Bank statements of your last 3 months Spanish account stamped by the bank.
5. Certificate of average balance for last 3 months bank account (certificado de saldo medio de los últimos 3 meses) Not always required
6. Marriage certificate if in a couple one is dependent on the other for the S1 or only one is worker in Spain, birth certificate for children
7. Copies of all the documents. Copies must be all in A4 format. Please don't cut the copies smaller.
8. Proof Of Income:

b. Pensioners: proof of the pension received (minimum 550€/month per person). Pension paid into a Spanish bank account. Certificate of the pension (or the bit where it says how much it will be/increase). c. Non workers: Certificate from bank proving you have more than 5.000 euros per person, 10.000 euros for 2 people, 12.500€ for 3 people, 15.000€ for 4 people for more than 3 months in Spanish account d. Workers: Payslips of at least 550€ a month per person + vida laboral proving at least 3 months of work records and mínimum 20h/week working contract |
9. Medical Protection:

a. Your country can issue an S1 or E111 document that will grant you health care in Spain if you are entitled to it. Your partner can also obtain one as your dependant.
b. Private insurance policy with full coverage + certificate stating: “El seguro médico contratado incluye asistencia primaria, especialidades, ingresos hospitalarios e intervenciones quirúrgicas” + Receipt of the payment or certificate stating monthly payments are being done or proving full year policy was paid. c. As a self employed or worker in Spain you have fully coverage national healthcare and your family is entitled to it through residency |

Residency for non EU citizen as a family member of an EU resident: Our fees 350€ initially (if all documents submitted as we instruct you and no extra trips to Alicante are needed). Requirements similar to Residency for EU citizens but minimum of 22.000€ proof of income/funds for the applicant (can be in partner´s account). - Proof of enough money to live while the visa duration (2.320€ a month or a total of 27.800€ minimum for the first year)+6950€ for the next family member (Any person applying as a dependent of the main non lucrative visa Spain applicant must provide a marriage certificate or a birth certificate duly apostilled and translated by a Spanish sworn translator -we can recommend one-)
- Proof of full private healthcare policy for you and your family (We can recommend one with good prices and guaranteed coverage for the application and the needs once in Spain)
- Police clearance certificate, obtained less than 90 days before the application and officially translated by a Spanish sworn translator -we can recommend one-
- Medical certificate issued by your doctor stating: "This health certificate states that Mr./Mrs.------ does not suffer from any of the diseases that may have serious public health repercussions in accordance with what is stipulated by the International Health Regulations of 2005" translated by a Spanish sworn translator -we can recommend one-
- Fees for 2022 for the visa application is 516 pounds paid on the day of your visit to the Consulate.
