Driving Licence

If you are planning on becoming a resident in Spain it is required for you to have a Spanish driving licence even if your moving over from a European country and hold an EU driving licence.

To change your EU Licence you will be required to pass a “medical test” where they check your eyes, blood pressure and any medication you are currently taking. You will also have to undergo a very simple coordination test.

It's not done in the medical center, but in “psicotecnico”. We can take you there or direct you to the nearest one.

Driving in the UK with a Spanish licence

You can use your Spanish licence in the UK for short visits, or exchange it for a UK licence without taking a test if you go back to live there.
